Why We're Here

Galatians 6:9 “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” 

Some great businesses start through inspiration; an overwhelming spark of genius. Others, because of necessity; a nagging problem with no solution.

For Stephanie and Calvin Mackey, it was neither. Instead, it was simply a way of life. 

For as long as they can remember, Stephanie, a Masters Prepared RN of 39 years, and Calvin, a retired NASA Engineer, have always invited others into their home, no matter what the need. By 2020 their 3 children, and the families they’ve helped get back on their feet, ventured out on their own. For some couples, this would be a moment of joy: finally, the house to themselves! For Calvin and Stephanie, however, an emptiness grew in their hearts.

As time passed, God revealed that this emptiness had only one solution: continuing their work in caring for others!

Their longtime friends, Melvin and Gwen White, had great relationships with local hospitals and nursing homes. After a few conversations directed by The Lord, the 2 couples made a decision: they would care for one of the most vulnerable populations in our society, the elderly. God even gave us our name- Faint Not: Your4EverHome, LLC!

With Melvin and Gwen’s referrals, Stephanie’s medical expertise and Calvin’s mastery of building and streamlining systems, they started on this new chapter in their lives. Finding residents who needed care was simple enough, but they knew they could not care for everyone. 

Since their level of care, which soon became known as “Concierge-Level Care”

1. Was consistent, detailed and compassionate 
2. Met their resident's needs in a way that traditional nursing homes or long-term care homes could not

Demand for their service grew rapidly. 

A rising question with an urgently needed answer soon came to their mind: “Since we can not care for everyone, who DO we care for?” So, just like every other important decision in their lives, they turned to prayer. Overtime, family by family, God revealed his answer to them: You!
