RN-Directed Residential Care in Hampton Roads
Most residential care homes are staffed by caregivers alone. At Faint Not: Your4EverHome, a Registered Nurse directs all care planning and remains accessible to families throughout the Hampton Roads region — including Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Portsmouth.

In Virginia, residential care homes are not required to employ a Registered Nurse. Many homes rely entirely on personal care aides and medication technicians — which is appropriate for residents with lower-acuity needs. At Faint Not: Your4EverHome, we go further.
Our co-founder Stephanie Mackey is a Masters-prepared Registered Nurse with nearly four decades of clinical experience. She personally oversees care planning for every resident, reviews health changes, communicates with physicians and specialists, and is available to families who have clinical questions.
This does not mean we provide skilled nursing procedures in place of a licensed home health or hospice agency — those services require their own licensure and are coordinated separately when needed. What it means is that a qualified nurse is watching, thinking, and advocating for your loved one every day.
Care Plan Development
The RN develops and regularly reviews each resident's individualized care plan, incorporating input from the resident, family, and attending physicians.
Health Change Recognition
Early recognition of health changes — before they become emergencies — is one of the most valuable things a nurse brings to a residential setting.
Medication Oversight
The RN oversees medication management, reviews orders, and coordinates with prescribers when adjustments are needed.
Family Communication
Families can speak directly with someone who understands the clinical picture — not just a caregiver relaying information secondhand.
